He joined the international Burroughs Machines Corporation in 1975 where he remained for 10 years achieving outstanding success in both Sales Management and General Management. Recognising that corporate life was too restrictive for him and having identified a niche market he formed his own company, Universal Document Management, in 1985.
Universal now features in the UK's Print Industries Top 500 list. Subsequently he has been involved in the formation of two other companies allied to the print industry and in 1999 was instrumental in the creation of Eagle Technologies due to a close association with the plastic card industry.
Chris Rayner
Chris has an extensive track record of success in Sales and Marketing and is fuelled by an entrepreneurial drive to build Eagle to be the largest and most respected company in its field worldwide.
Chris began his career in sales with Canon, swiftly moving on to a sales manager position in a start up office products business. When the company was successfully sold, Chris joined a selection company and helped to establish their sales recruitment business. Next he joined ICC PLC and introduced a bespoke research department within keynote.
He then joined Eltron Card Printers (Zebra Technologies Inc.) in 1996, where he became head of business development for the UK, Scandinavia and indirectly Eastern Europe, where he established a new distribution structure and helped build the Eltron and Zebra card printer brand names.
Seeing the market growth and an opportunity for a focused trade sales only distributor in this market, he and David Phillips partnered to establish Eagle Technologies Limited in November 1999. In a short time, Eagle has emerged as a recognised global leader with offices in the UK, Europe and a joint card manufacturing venture in the USA.
Nicky Kelly
Qualified in retail, sales support, and administration Nicky joined Eagle in January 2002. Her commitment to Eagle and personal high values have secured several promotions resulting in her current position as Office Manager.
Whilst involved in customer services, Nicky thrives on touching all areas of the company, along with other members of Eagle's management team, ensuring day-to-day client activities run smoothly.
Nicky is also involved in stock management, supplier relations, HR, recruitment and the induction of new office staff along with ensuring our office facilities are fully equipped and maintained.
Tina Doo
Tina trained and qualified as a Certified Accountant in Practice and particularly enjoyed assisting varied clients with the preparation/recovery of management information.
She further enhanced her career in industry by joining Deloitte and Touche focusing on financial information for management of many prestigious companies including Eagle Technologies. Enjoying the challenge of a fast moving, ambitious company Tina joined Eagle permanently in August 2001 and continues to head up the finance department.
Ricki Smith
Ricki joined Eagle in 2004 and in his short tenure has achieved outstanding results both personally and commercially.
After honing his customer service skills in the retail industry, Ricki joined Eagle Technologies to sure up the customer service team.
It was during these successful 4 years whilst excelling in the customer service arena, Ricki discovered a natural ability for operations and procedures which culminated in his appointment as Operations Manager in 2008.
As a valued member of Eagle's management team, Ricki's attributes and outstanding industry knowledge will continue to support clients and customers alike whilst ensuring the intense operational demands brought on by Eagle's impressive growth year on year are satisfied professionally.
Stuart Parker
With a university diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Stuart began his working life as a repair Technician with Eltron (Zebra Technologies Inc.), rising to the position of EMEA Technical Support Manager. In April 2000, keen to play a key role in building a fast growth business, he joined Eagle Technologies to lead their technical department.
In 2005, Stuart was instrumental in building a partnership with our third party maintenance partner enabling Eagle to create another industry first and provide inclusive ONSITE warranty and printer service/repair services with every Evolis card printer sold into the UK and Ireland markets. As well as managing our technical support and Service & Repair Centre teams, Stuart is also responsible for our internal IT systems and the Technical Updates on this website.
